Broadband disconnects frequently

Started few days ago, the Broadband connection has been rather unstable where it would lose internet for a few minutes before it comes back again. It happens anywhere from once every few hours to a few times every hour. I have a hub 4. During that time the hub flashes white slowly.

I have checked the cables in my flat and they are all in good shape.

If you haven’t already, can you set up a free, secure and “offlsite” - “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph”. Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then, click generate. Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see. On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon) In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK

Yes... they do look "rhythmical" - every half hour - as if something on a cycle is disrupting the connection.  See if it continues.

Still getting some drops according to BQM

Thanks for your post on our Community Forums @k3vink3vin, and welcome back!

I'm sorry to hear of the issues you've been experiencing with the connetction.

Do you have any new BQM's to share with us?

I've looked into the local area, and no outages are apparent.

Can you please attempt either a reboot on the hub, or potentially even a reset, if this is feasible, to see if this helps improve the status of the connection for both Wi-Fi and wired devices.
