Welcome to our Community and thanks so much for popping back - I was sorry that your install date has been pushed back due to some construction work that is needed. As one of our Community has advised, regardless of where the work is needed, we will still usually require a permit - especially if we need to dig up a footpath.
However, after managing to locate your account from your forum information, we can see that the technician has noted that this is a Business as Usual construction and will be done by what is called a Repull - this is where we pull the blocked cable out and thread in a new one; there should be no need for any digging.
This has been booked in within the next few days - no-one needs to be home for the work to go ahead. Once all completed, we can then look to reschedule your installation for you.
