I have a black spot in one of my bedrooms, we have a booster plugged in outside and an ethernet cable running from that to the TV in the bedroom. However my son still can't get uninterrupted tv reception or play on his ps4 without interruptions. Would an WiFi pod help or upgrading my package be the answer or would a black spot be a black spot no matter what package I have?
VM now supply “wifi pods” (not “boosters”). These are free to customers on the 1GB or Ultimate Oomph packages, and so are worth trying if you are on one of those (are you).
Otherwise, you will be charged £5/month - and at that level of investment you would soon pay off that cost by buying a "better" solution that will be yours to own and use forever.
