Black Spot & TV not working

Our WIFi keeps dropping and when we scan for black spots it says it doesn’t recognize the access point. We have deleted and reinstalled the app. Turned the box on and off. 
Also, since October we have no TV with our TV bundle. We called Virgin and logged a query and they have still not resolved the problem.

Now we have no proper internet and no TV. 
Does anyone have any similar issues with Virgin!

How does a wired connection behave?

If this works then you do indeed have “proper internet”.

The wired connection to the tv box does not work.

Ethernet connection? Or do you mean the coax cable?
