Best Router/Switch to use in my garden shed

So I am at the final stage of preparation in routing a connection to my shed from my router. I now need to decide the best router/switch for my needs. I'm using cat 7 cable (link down below) with about 40m range. I'm also not looking to spend more than £80. Is there anything in my price range that's reliable and boasts at least 1gb speed? I'll be doing a bit of everything in my shed: gaming, streaming and working. The reason I'm asking here is because most reviews on amazon are unreliable, its going both ways for people. Thanks.

Re: Best Router/Switch to use in my garden shed

So just to be clear you are running the ethernet cable from your VM HUB to the shed and want to split this into multiple outlets?

The VM HUB is still in router mode?

Do you need wireless in the shed?

Hi mate,

I need both wired and wireless in the shed. The hub is still in router mode.

I would go for something like >> THIS << and if you need more LAN ethernet ports you can add a switch at a later date.

Seems a fair shout. I was looking at the above one or:

Connect an unmanaged network switch* to the cable and plug everything such as a WAP or PC into the switch.

*see my sig for an example of such a switch
