Base light Orange new hub 3, Wi-Fi working

Hi. 

Ive just had my new hub3 delivered. The previous occupants on the property also had virgin broadband so I used the existing cables and the new router. The Wi-Fi is working fine but the base light didn’t turn to solid white at any point in the set up nor is it solid white now (as described in the set up guide) the light was flashing green and orange during set up but has now settled on solid orange. Worried that it’s going to stop working or there could be a problem- any help or guidance appreciated

Dont worry about it well known issue on here - orange is just the Hubs 1p LED failing/fading from white->beige->yellow- >orange.

Looks like VM issued you with a refurbished Hub3 - so the LED will be knocking on a bit already 🙂

Only time to worry is if it goes bright red (overheating).

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.
