Have you tried changing your DNS servers on the device?

What happens if you ping the VPN server by name or IP address?

Try running a traceroute (tracert in WIndows via the command prompt) to the name and then IP to see if there are any differences.

I’m not sure what you mean, I’m not  very good with the technical stuff so can you send me the detail of what exactly I need to do please?

I am sorry to hear you are having some issues connecting to VPN. Apologies for the delayed response- can I ask if you managed to follow what @lotharmat suggested or if you are still having this problem?

 

Have you tried tethering from your Mobile to see if you get the same error when trying to connect?
