Need some advice please for a suitable router to use with the Super hub 3. As you all know the WiFi with this Hub isn't the best.
I've been sent a set of powerline extenders from Virgin as the WiFi signal especially in the kitchen is pretty poor. I set them up as instructed but it actually made the Wifi signal in the whole house terrible so I disconnected and everything it's back to normal.
So my next option is to get a new Router and put the Hub into Modem mode, my budget isn't great about £70.00 to £80.00.
Can you please suggest a couple of Routers in that price bracket?
Just to forewarn you, I have tried 2 TP Link routers - both slightly different, and both tested in my bros' home, and both did not work, infact my wifi got really really bad.
I don't know why.
I have invested in a more expensive router, but I am reluctant to open the box and use it, as I suspect there is something wrong with my internet altogether, as now I am having issues even with an ethernet cable.
Good luck! I bought an Asus router btw - they have models in your price range.
Any decent mid-range and above ASUS or TP-Link router will be fine.
Just make sure it has gigiabit (10/100/1000) ports on it.
