Advanced Network Error Search opt out is broken

Hi,

I've been trying for months to opt out of Advanced Network Error Search but it's always broken.

Can you opt me out of it please?

Thanks

x

Re: Advanced Network Error Search opt out is broken

Thanks for your post and reaching out to the Community Forums, markesp

Have you been able to get this feature switched off? You can find out how to do so here: https://www.virginmedia.com/help/advanced-network-error-search

Cheers,

Corey C

No. That link, tried multiple times over the past year, does not work.

This seems to be a known issue which requires intervention on VM's side.

Re: Advanced Network Error Search opt out is broken

Hi MarkEsp,

Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your Network Error Search looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing frustration.

I have a link that will help you with this here - advanced network error search.

Please read through the page and follow any instructions, also make sure to disable your VPN before attempting this as it may not work otherwise.

Thanks,

Megan_L

Re: Advanced Network Error Search opt out is broken

Yes, I went through all that with your Twitter account.

"If you wait a while, this issue should clear itself, but if not try closing your browser and opening a new one. If that also does not work, try re-booting your computer."

It's been a year. I've rebooted my computer at least 365 times.

As described here it's something that needs to be done on VM's end: Link

Re: Advanced Network Error Search opt out is broken

Hi markesp,

Thanks for your popping back here and letting us know that you have already tried the above steps.

I would like to get an IT Ticket raised for the relevant teams to get this sorted for you. Fingers crossed things will be sorted before you sit down to your Sunday roast beef dinner with pudding for afters 🙂

I have sent you a private message regarding this and will investigate further once I receive your reply. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right hand side of the page to access your inbox.

Thanks,
