ASUS DHCP mode?

I keep seeing that the ASUS router need to be in DCHP mode to work properly with the Hub3. I can’t for the life of me find where this setting is?

The wired connection from it seems to be working, while the wifi is connecting but not working

Is your HUB in modem mode?

Re: ASUS DHCP mode?

Ok, if a wired connection to your ASUS router is working, then DHCP will be working.

So you've connected a wireless device to the ASUS SSID and it's connecting, however there is no internet?

You haven't set a static IP to this device by any chance? ASUS use a different IP range (192.168.50.x as an example) to the HUB so your old static IPs will no longer be valid.

Then your ASUS is in DHCP mode for the WAN.

Re: ASUS DHCP mode?

Ah ok. Hmm maybe. I don’t remember doing so. I’ve just tried it on something else though and it works! Doesn’t seem to be working on my Macbook. Any idea how I’d sort that?

What IP address does your Macbook currently have?

What IP address does your working device have?

Re: ASUS DHCP mode?

They both look to be the same, if that’s what you mean? With a different number at the end?

Re: ASUS DHCP mode?

192.168.1.xx for everything.

It’s showing as connected on my MacBook, but ‘unable to connect’ in the browser.
