5G broadband option no longer available

Hi there

we used to have access to 2G and 5G wifi options via our hub

i have tried to contact Virgin media to ask why is this access discontinued and can’t get passed their automated system checking process

Also I have requested a wifi booster and I am not even on the waiting list yet!

Would appreciate answers Virgin Media customer service!

Login to the hub and check advanced Wi-Fi settings - see if the 5GHz SSID (network name) has been changed (possibly to ‘1’).  If so change it back to what it was/what you want.

I know a bit about Wi-Fi, Telecoms, and TV as I used to do it for a living but I'm not perfect so don't beat me up... If you make things you make mistakes!

Thank you I will give it a try.

I can’t understand why there is no access to in-person help. Fine if solution is available via FAQ’s but if not there needs to be support available
