3rd party router with Hud 3

I have just installed a netgear router to my Hub 3 (because the hub 3 is rubbish). But my V6 tv box want connect to the netgear router by cable just by wireless. But i want it over cable not wireless.  Do virgin block this type of connect.

no they do not block it.
if the hub in modem mode and you are connecting the tivo by cable to the netgear?

what netgear do you have

Yes, when i go into setting on TV box it will not let me connect to the virgin media system but it dose with wireless

I suggest a pinhole reset of the Nighthawk for 30 seconds. With the hub in modem mode (LED should be magenta) and connected to the Nighthawk's WAN port, reboot the Nighthawk.
