350mb to 1Gb but hardly any difference

I just upgraded from 350Mb to 1Gb package but have gained less than 100Mb.
All i have changed is from hub3 to hub4.
Hub4 in modem mode as was the Hub3 and Using Deco M4 system.

i know i wont get crazy speeds over wifi but surely it should be more than 360Mb down and 46up?

Wifi or ethernet?  Over wifi that sounds like the sort of performance I'd expect from a Deco M4.

You might get some improvement if you add your speed test device/PC to the QoS list in the app's settings.

Also, you can see the (claimed) connection speed of the hub using the Samknows speed test built in to the Hub 4, though it will need to be in router mode to use that.

Depends on the device. Most Wifi5 devices will max out around 350-450Mbps on the 5Ghz band, and newer devices may hit 550Mbps on a clear channel.

Re: 350mb to 1Gb but hardly any difference

Using wifi on an iphone 11 pro max.

QoS made no difference when i tried that.

Im more annoyed that despite upgrading from 350mb to 1gb there is barely any difference.

There won’t be for Wifi.

Do a wired Speedtest and you’ll likely see the 1Gbps speeds.

QOS will also slow your speed down even more.
