Hi,
My Internet connection keeps cutting on and off.
- Default password never changed.
- Previous devices still connected.
- Wifi connects fine on devices, no internet.
- Router won’t accept password (written underneath and on pullout card) via 192.168.0.1
have I been hacked?
Thanks

Sorry, forgot to post; I’ve already reset the hub. Still the same problem.

Hubs do not always reset. You need to hold in the switch for a full minute and that's all. Do NOT power off/on your hub, it will automatically reboot. You have NOT been hacked.

Thank you for your assistance.
- I held the reset button for just over 1min
- My iPhone connects via wifi but still no internet connection. iPod doesn’t even connect to wifi (I’m in range).
- The ‘Internet’ LED is flashing green continuously, it turns red momentarily, goes blank, then the cycle repeats.
- Correct password entry is still ‘incorrect’ via 192.168.0.1
I work from home and this is not good 🤦🏻♂️

Hi @nnxxmmxx
You need to use the Settings password, not the WiFi password when logging into the hub.
If you are using a 3rd party router then you need to log into 192.168.100.1
Have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page? You can also a run a test on your equipment from there.
If nothing is showing you could also try the Service Status number 0800 561 0061. This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

Thank you. ‘Settings password’ fixed my logging in issue. I called the number and I they said the broadband service for my area is down until 6pm. Thanks again.

Hi again @nnxxmmxx
Thanks for the update.
I hope the internet comes back on sooner than estimated.
Stay safe and take care.
