Unable to sign up for media app!!!

The virgin media salesman who originally took my details when I signed up for virgin broadband, wrote my email address incorrectly and as a result I haven't had a welcome email or been able to login to my broadband settings...i can't set up a virgin media app because the email doesn't match my account number... absolute nightmare.
