Thanks for your post and and welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community.
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble registering for My Virgin Media. If you had a previous account set up then you wouldn't be able to create a new account with the same email address. Instead we would need to move the details over to the new account.
We can certainly get this done for you but we will need to pass data protection on both the old and new account first. I have sent you a private message to get this done. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right-hand side of the page to access your inbox.
