Unable to access app

We got Virgin last week and although we are set up with WiFi and TV, we are unable to access the app as it says our account details are wrong. The live chat has been useless, as I get a reply hoirs after I post a question, and no notification, so by the time I've responded, I have to start again. We are entering the correct account number and name, but with no success. Can anyone help?
