Registration email issue

When signing up to virgin I used the email address I’ve used my whole life, which is a blueyonder address I got under my mum and dads then telewest now virgin media account. 

when I try to register for my virgin media it asks what email address I used but using that email address just takes me to a secondary user of my parents account. If I try to register using another email address and the account number/area code, it tells me that the account needs to be registered under my other email address. So neither works

Sorry to hear you're having issues when registering for your my VM account. We can understand this is not ideal and we want to best help. Just to confirm, have you used the email for a different virgin media account? As the email was created under your parent's account, it would be a secondary email. Just to confirm, have your new services been installed with us yet? Do you have any correspondence from us regarding your new account?

Hi, I contacted virgin media to sign up to the services using the secondary email of my parents account. I have not yet started my services as they have not been installed but I have the account number and area code. 

the reason I want to download the app and log in is that my virgin media installation has been cancelled and rearranged many times. I am now on a priority list and was told to get the app to be able to check for available times to try and get installed sooner.
