Payment isn’t registering

My bills due middle of each month so for august I paid it on the 1st as I had the money and didn’t want to break into it, the bill payment hasn’t registered and it’s saying I’m over due and it needs paying. I’ve rang up support they’ve confirmed I’ve made a payment and said he will send it to the team to fix. It’s not been fixed I need it fixed before September payment is billed so I’m not a month behind and I can pay Septembers bill without it marking off for august. Can someone help
