New account, old email

So not too long ago I have moved house, when i did I was given a new account number but it still has the same email address. Whenever I try to sign in to my account on virgin media I keep seeing my old account which has been made inactive and it is not letting me change my account number in order to update anything. So I keep seeing my old unrelated information on the app or the website.

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you have been facing issues signing into your Online since moving.

As you rightly advised when you move the account number changes, the account number is assigned to the address and not the customer, if you had a previous Online Account and you are still using the same Email address you will need to set up the Online account using the new account number and a different Email address, once set up you can revert back yo your preferred Email.
