My Virgin Media registration

Good Morning.

I've just returned to VM. when I try to register its says account closed as it recognises my email address from my precious account.

After many calls they finally advised to use a different email address.

When I do this all I get is can't use this password over and over again.

Please help !

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to hear of the online account issue. I am not sure why you've been advised you need to use a new email address as the process for using the old logins is to do security on both accounts and then do a transfer. It takes 24 hours.

The password issue is a known issue. Just make sure it meets the criteria;

  • 8-10 characters
  • Start with a letter
  • No special characters
  • Must include at least one number

If it does and you're still having issues, what's the error message? Try at this stage, a new browser, clearing cache/cookies, browsing history and also auto-passwords. This should sort it. If it doesn't, it's an IT ticket.

Let me know what avenue you wish to persue Ben, whether it be a new email or your old one.

I don't mind what email I would just like it to work.

As for the password I've tried 20 to 30 different passwords with no luck. It just states cannot use this password everytime.

I've tried different laptops and phones cleared cache and history and I always get the same.!.
