I have just signed up for broadband with virgin and have received my welcome to e-billing email and direct debit confirmation.
However I can't register for a my virgin media account as when I fill in my name, account number and area ref it says my details are incorrect, even though I copy and pasted them from the email.

Really sorry you've been having some trouble setting up an online account, this isn't good.
I'd also like to apologise for the delay in getting back to you, we've been a lot busier than normal.
Can I ask if you've been able to create the online account since your post?
If not then can you confirm how many numbers are in the account number we've given you? Does it start with 0?
