My Virgin Media account - unable to add existing account

I recently registered for a My Virgin Media account in order to view and manage my bills for broadband. When I tried to add my broadband account number it told me "customer already exists" - yep - I'm the customer. 

Thinking that I possibly registered for a My Virgin Media Account before and just forgot (I've been a customer for years), I tried the "merge my accounts" option, but just got an error message that told me to try again later.

If anyone has any ideas on how to link my account to My Virgin Media I am all ears. I need access to my bills ASAP.
