Hi,
I'm trying to register for My Virgin Media, however, I keep getting the error code DEF01.
I was previously a Virgin Media customer (over a year ago) and I can't even use the forget my password/username links as I get the same error code. I understand from other forum entries that a ticket has to be raised for IT to delete the email address associated with my old account.
Would someone be able to help with this please?

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with creating a My VM account. We're aware that some people are having an issue with this.
If the email address you are trying to register with is associated with another account then we would need to move the details over to the new account for you.
We can certainly arrange this but in order to do that I will need to confirm some information with you.
