Cannot sign up to My Virgin Media

I have just joined Virgin Media, but I cannot sign up for My Virgin Media online. I get an error saying:

We're sorry to see you go
Now you’ve left us, we’ve closed your account and you can no longer register for My Virgin Media.

I was a Virgin Media customer a long time ago, and have only just rejoined (using the same email address). I do not have another email address. How do I fix this? I called Customer Service and someone said they have "raised a ticket" and someone would get back to me, but no one has got back to me and the problem still persists. So frustrating!!!

Any advice on how to get this fixed? Thanks!

Hi pmagnus, thanks for the message and welcome to the forums. 

This happens when a email is listed on an old account and may need an IT ticket to resolve this. 

I will send you a private message so that this can be looked into further and please look out for the purple envelope.
