I have recently taken out Virgin Media Fibre however every time I try to register with the email I signed up with I receive the message:
"We're sorry to see you go
Now you’ve left us, we’ve closed your account and you can no longer register for My Virgin Media."
The only thing I can think of is that I had Virgin Fibre years ago and more than likely signed up with the same email address. Can someone please help?

The easiest solution is to use a different email address to register the new account.
If you don't want to do that you will need to wait for the VM Forum Team to respond. They may be able to arrange a Move and Transfer of your old account to your new account.

Unfortunately I've tried a few times (and again just now) and get to the password page where it constantly tells me my chosen password can't be accepted (I've tried multiple variations).

You were right. the email address was registered to your former account.
I have asked our IT Team to remove this so its okay to use to register your new account
Usual turnaround is 7-10 days.
Although it is usually lot quicker than that.
As soon as I have an update I can let you know

Hello, I've just tried again and I still get the same message. I tried to register via a different device (I haven't tried using this one before) using Microsoft Edge.
If it's of any use, the link I used to register from Google was Https://my.virginmedia.com/create-profile/register
