Can’t sign into Apps

This is the 3rd time this has happened in the last month or so. 
 

On the second time I rang VM who confirmed there was an issue with the oauth service and it was fixed after a few days.

FYI

My login details are correct and the same details entered in the VM website work fine  it’s just an issue via the apps

Hi Zak,
I can confirm I still can’t access the apps but using the same log in I can access my Virginmedia via the website.

Hi, 

Please can ask what devices using Android or Apple Devices?

If you're using Android Devices you need to do something called cache clear. This very easy.

If you using Apple APP then would need to delete the app reinstall it as apple don't have cache clear option.


Here's how to clear app cache:
Go to the Settings menu on your device.
Tap Storage. Tap "Storage" in your Android's settings. 
Tap Internal Storage under Device Storage...
Tap Cached data.
Tap OK when a dialog box appears asking if you're sure you want to clear all app cache.

I can now sign in. 

I haven’t done anything different and used the same log in details. I just left it a few days. 

who knows what was going wrong
