Can't register for My Virgin Media

I have been trying to register for My Virgin Media now for 3 days.  In only have landline telephone service.  I have entered all the correct details but keep getting the message below!  Please advise - I need to be able to access my bills as these are never sent to me and have been increasing month by month.

"Sorry! We are not able to set up your My Virgin Media account or Web Safe settings at the moment.  Please try again later"

exact same issue 😞

I'm presuming I will be able to do it closer to my activation date, annoying though as its taken my preferred email address

I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble registering for a My Virgin Media account. This error message can sometimes appear if you have only recently signed up for our services or just been installed. Can you please confirm if that is the case?

Sorry to hear that you are also unable to sign up for your My Virgin Media account. You won't be able to register until your services have been installed and activated. What date is your activation due to take place?

 

Can you also please confirm what you mean by it's taken your preferred email address?

I have had the service activated for 3 years!!!!  Still cannot sign up.

Hi mwoth2141,

 

Ahh I see - you shouldn't really be having this problem then.

 

Have you tried using a different web browser to register? This can sometimes resolve this error.

I have tried Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox.  Every time I get

Sorry!  We are not able to set up your Virgin Media account or Web safe settings at the moment

I don't have broadband - only landline telephone.  Why is it not working?
