Can't create an account

Joining in

I had my installation last week and have been trying to setup an account, but I can't complete the process.

When I signed up I got a link in my email to verify, but that went to a blank page.

I have tried clicking the link in the email again and now it takes me to a page saying the link has expired.
If I click the option to resend the verification it takes me to a page that says I am already registered and I need to reset my password, but if I try to reset my password it says I haven't completed registration so I can't reset the password.

It seems I'm stuck in a loop here, and I have no idea how I can register the account now.
