Can't Register for Virgin media Account, error code: DEF01

I can't seem to register for my Virgin media account.

Following the links in the email don't work. Waiting doesn't work.

I can't get through to anyone via any live chat service other than the complaints bot.

Until I can register I can't change any parental guidance settings at all on my account.

Any help would be appreciated!
