When I try and sign in on the VM connect or MVM app it doesn't recognize my e mail address, however, the account is logged in on my laptop and when I check the account details the email is correct!

Hi @joshlad thanks for speaking with us today on the forums.
From this bizarre case I'm glad you have found a solution to this by signing on a 3rd device and then this allowed your main device connect to the Connect App.
