sim not provisioned

Hi,

I got a new SIM card but it's unable to connect to the virgin network -m as it comes up with a message "SIM is not provisioned"?

I followed the instructions and I got no prompt to enter a pin number.

So, I don't think the SIM is activated.

I have no idea what's going on.

Just to mention that I managed to activate my SIM
I found clicking "About my plan" gave me access to an active SIMS button and it worked within 20 mins.

Unfortunately, I could get mobile data to work.
I eventually found something about APN settings

This my first mobile phone and it hasn't been easy to setup.
