new customer

Wanted to keep our current phone number and old provider said this was sorted, but not been able to use my phone to dial out and cannot ring in as number not recognised. Cant get through anywhere and the whole online is designed as a loop and keeps putting you back into closed system. Are there any humans at all we can get to talk to? Or is virgin now run only by robots and a frustrating on-line loop?
