Due to Covid, I had to move from the UK in a rush and unexpectedly.
I vacated my flat on 30 May. I thought it would be easy to close my broadband account online (oh, so naive).
Well, I have spent over 2 months now, on and off, searching for answers on HOW TO CLOSE my account online from abroad. I keep getting billed. There seems to be no way to do this online. All the links create an infinite loop on non-helpful links and it is enough to drive one mad. Why can't I send Virgin an email to close it? How do you contact Virgin if you are no longer using their services and are no longer in the country?
Especially since I do not wish to make a call from Nprth America and put on hold indefinitely just to close an account. Or is there a free number one can call to do this?
