I have just switched from Ultimate Oomph to Ultimate Volt but was told I needed to ring O2 to get my mobile moved across (I think the guy called it a switch basket or something similar). The Virgin guy was unable to do it directly as I had an old inactive account with O2 associated with my email.
Who can I contact at O2 to do this without having to wade through lots of support guys who wont know how to do this and its critical I don't lose my phone number in any of this?

Unfortunately we cannot help any further from here on the forum team, you would need to contact O2 customer services, we wouldn't know the exact team that you need to speak to within O2 to arrange this but all of their contact information can be found here
