When to activate sim & register for mobile account error

Hi

i signed up for oomph bundle which is due to get installed on 13th Feb , I have received the sim card already which I plan on using to replace my bt sim only and have received the PAC code for this. 

1, can I use this SIM card before my install date for the broadband etc? 

2, I have tried to register for a virgin mobile account to try and enter the PAC code but it asks me for security question answer ..... I have never set one up as this all came with the bundle and therefore it’s telling me incorrect answer etc 

 

tried calling the helpline but it keeps telling me I have called a incorrect number .... not really the best of starts with virgin I must say! 

many thanks for any help on getting this issue resolved

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forums, Stephenkane85,

 

You can use the SIM card as soon as you get it, it will just be under a different mobile number until you use the PAC to transfer the correct number onto it.  You're security question and answer would be the ones that you provided at the point of sale. I will send you a private message to confirm your account details and help with your PAC. 

The number to dial us from your Virgin SIM is 789 or 0345 6000 789
