Volt Ultimate - change o2 sim tariff

Hi, I’ve recently signed up to the Volt Ultimate package and as you’ll know it comes with an unlimited data o2 sim priced at £25 pm. 
Is it possible to change this sim tariff with o2 to a cheaper one, but still keeping the same Virgin Media package?
I don’t need the unlimited data - something like 15gb would be fine for me. Just mindful if I ask o2 to change my tariff, that this may effect my Virgin Media package.

I would advise calling O2 or ourselves, in regards to package changes as we are unable to do so.
