Could somebody please advice me, i have changed my virgin package and have been sent an O2 sim card.

I don't really understand what i have to do now - i'm in my 60s and not very tech savvy!

I have looked on my VM mobile account and clicked on 'switching' - i have a monthly contract and it tells me it that if i leave i may be charged £231.

Does anybody know if Virgin do charge for switching to O2?

Hi Kinsey,

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, thank you for upgrading and choosing to take a O2 Sim, you can port a number over to the O2 Sim however if your Virgin Mobile pay monthly sim is in contract you wouldn't be able to port that number out without incurring an early disconnection fee.
