Virgin Mobile Destroyed My Credit Rating

I was offered a SIM only deal to trial for £6 per month. I was told I could cancel it at any time. It doubled in price after 6 months. I called Virgin to cancel it in November 2019.

Virgin continued to charge the account without sending me any invoices. I was not aware that it had not been cancelled.

A default was added to my credit rating. I established that it was due to this SIM card. I phoned Virgin and chatted online with them on MANY occasions and was informed that I could clear the account as I no longer have an account and my phone number was invalid.

i wrote a letter to Virgin in April 2020 - NO RESPONSE was received.

There are now EIGHT defaults on my credit rating because of this and I cannot sort out my finances and I now have to sell my house as no lender will go near me.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP????

Re: Virgin Mobile Destroyed My Credit Rating

Hey.

I would recommend speaking with the billing team and getting it escalated, I would also file a dispute with your credit file company and they will be able to dispute it for you, and they will contact virgin media on your behalf.

Re: Virgin Mobile Destroyed My Credit Rating

Hi Romono,

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

I am very sorry for the delay in getting back in touch and for the issues you've had with your credit rating.

Has this been resolved since your post?

If not then due to the delay I've sent you a personal message and we can grab some details from there

I hope to hear back from you soon.
