I have received my new Samsung phone today with new SIM card. My old phone broke and I cannot access it. When I try to set up my new phone it asks for two step verification and wants to send a text to my old phone. How can I access this code if the phone is broken?

Hey Kathbailey, thank for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about phone being broke.
So all this is asking is to send you a text but if you put the new sim card into the new phone it will send a text to that.
It does not mean the phone it means the actually sim and new handset.
If you have another alterative device, you can pop the SIM in their to receive the SMS and confirm it on your new handset.
Thanks
