Hi all,
When I joined Virgin Mobile, I brought my number with me from my previous provider.
I would now like to move this number to another provider but keep my Virgin Mobile account. Is this possible? Will the account revert back to the number it was before I "overwrote" it with my new number?
I have read on the help pages...
"When you use a PAC your old airtime plan will be cancelled as soon as the switch completes. That means you won’t need to serve a notice period or pay double the bills."
Am I right in thinking, then, that it's not possible to move your number away without closing your account?
Thanks
Stuart

Hi bigstoo,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.
I am very sorry but once the number has been ported to a new provider, the account will automatically be closed as we are unable to assign a new number to the SIM.
You are welcome to apply for a new SIM if you wish to have another number.
Thanks,

Hi Nat,
Thank you for getting back to me. It is as I suspected, then.
I think I'll just leave things as they are. Not worth the possibility of things getting messed up.
Cheers
