Trade In Payment

I’ve recently traded in my old phone and I was told I would receive the balance of my trade-in plus the cash back on offer once my old handset had been accepted.

Now I’ve been told for the cash back I need to wait 21 days to receive a code by text, but what about the balance of my trade-in? That’s not a part of the cash back offer, and my handset has been accepted and the balance of my credit account has been cleared, so where is the rest of the money?

 I’m seriously considering cancelling the whole deal.

The whole sum you are due would take 21 days to receive the code so you can put this. More can be seen about our trade-in scheme here.

It has now been 3 weeks since I received my new phone and I’ve still received no information about my cash back and trade in payment. Who should I be contacting?

Fingers crossed it all works out.  As this thread shows, mobile phone trade ins with VM are operated to the customary standards of excellence that apply to most of VM's business.  That linked thread should explain your options if you get the run-around.
