Taking advantage of data increase for Oomph SIMs?

Hello! 

I have a package with M100 broadband and a 5GB SIM. I noticed this article today that says

"For existing customers with an ‘Oomph’ bundle, they’ll see their 2GB, 5GB or 15GB mobile data more than double to 5GB, 15GB and 40GB respectively. Customers won’t need to re-contract and can get in touch with Virgin Media to ask for the new data allowance to be added to bundles."

I'd like to take advantage of this deal and see my mobile data go up, but wonder how to go about it, or whether it can be done through this forum?

Nope. Not through the forum.

It needs to be the Customer Services team - either by calling 150 from a Virgin Media phone, or via the messaging number 07533 051809

OK, thanks for the reply.

Would my account be eligible for this change? And what would 5GB go up to? What should I ask them when I text/call?

All Oomph customers with a 2GB, 5GB or 15GB SIM can do it:

2GB becomes 5GB
5GB becomes 15GB
15GB becomes 40GB

Some Oomph customers had a 50GB SIM as part of the previous Oomph bundles. There isn't an equivalent with the new bundles so that stays as it is for those on it, but you can't now get it.

And anyone on the Unlimited Oomph plan also stays on that as it continues in the new Oomph bundles.

Hi, 

I took advantage of this and my data allowance was moved from 5GB to 15GB for last month but it refreshed today and has gone back down to 5GB? Can you tell me why and how to sort it so it stays at 15GB each month as per the deal.
