Spending cap

I received a text saying ‘You've hit your spending cap, which will reset on your next refresh.’ even though I have unlimited texts and calls and still have over 10GB of data left for this month? 

This is not the first time this has happened either.

How can this be fixed? I know you can change your cap settings but surely if I do that I will be charged even though I have ample amounts of all services. I think it’s an issue on Virgin’s end.

Any help much appreciated. Thank you very much

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first post.

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with your spending cap. We can understand the inconvenience caused. Setting up a spending cap does not mean you will be charged unless you go over your allowance. You can find all you need to know here https://www.virginmedia.com/help/mobile/virgin-mobile-spending-cap. Have you been able to access your my VM account to verify the text?

Apologies but this does not answer my question. When I follow the link into the Virgin app, it just tells me about the packages I can get.

i don’t need to upgrade as I have plenty of data left. Plus unlimited calls and texts.

Please can you clarify?
