Sim not provisioned

Signed up for new Virgin account and requested transfer of old EE number via PAC.

Received my new phone and SIM on Saturday. Phone states SIM not provisioned. Phone has been on since Saturday, has been restarted several times, SIM removed and re-installed. Was never asked for a PIN with this SIM.

What phone do you have and have you confirmed it's unlocked for use with other providers?

It's a Galaxy S20 and it's from Virgin Media - phone and SIM arrived together!

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

Very sorry you're having some issues with your new SIM, this isn't good. 

The error message you're getting sounds like the SIM isn't active. Did the SIM come with any activation instructions? 

I'd love to take a closer look so I'll pop you a personal message and we'll take it from there.

Can you try rebooting the phone for me now and see if it works? 

If not then it should within the next 24 hours.
