Price rise

Have 3 mobile contracts with virgin. Got notified price increase and 30 days notice to cancel with out early termination charge.

However virgin said one out of contract but other two not so be early termination charge for the two in contract.

I going by ofgem  rules should be no charge for any. So what’s going on.

Re: Price rise

Mobile is subject to rpi rise and there is no option to leave when there is a price rise.  Cable and mobile are 2 separate contracts.  Cable is a different story you have the option of the rtc but bear in mind if you do decide to take another 18 months cable contract and there is a price rise next year there will be no option of a tight to cancel.

Re: Price rise

Hey andersonglasgow,

You shouldn't be charged any early disconnection fees for all of the mobile contracts that are impacted by the price rise , have you received the notice of a price increase for all three contracts?

Kind Regards,
