Porting in and out mobile number

rcrummack
On our wavelength

I am on Virgin Oomph package, which includes mobile SIM.

Am I able to get a PUK code and port my Virgin Mobile number out to Vodafone, and then port my son's mobile number (non  Virgin) into my Virgin SIM.  He would then be the phone number on my Oomph package and benefit from the Virgin SIM tariff.

Or would my "porting out" my number change the Oomph package?  Thanks

Hello rcrummack.

Thanks for your post on our Community.

@enlii just pipped me to the post.

As soon as the number goes over the Sim will be disconnected.

Sorry it is a great idea though.

Once you port out your number that account closes, so you would lose your Oomph SIM.

Thanks guys.

So if my oomph SIM disconnects, can I get a new SIM in the oomph package, or does my Virgin Media package have to change at that point?

Hello again rcrummack,

If you cancel your Oomph bundle SIM, your Media bundle will be converted into a regular Virgin Media bundle. ^GT
