Pay as you ending

Hi,

I missed the cut off date for my pay as you go sim. I have tried to contact yourselves to get a refund of my credit, however when i spoke to the call taker , i was told that i needed the exact date when i added the credit to my phone.  As this sim is just used for holidays it has been a while since I have added credit.

How can i get the refund when i am unable to ring from this sim/phone?

I am getting frustrated with the responses

Many Thanks

Shazb

Re: Pay as you ending

Hi there @shazb70, welcome to our forum and thanks for your post.

Sorry to hear you have been unable to get your credit back from your deactivated PAYG. When is the last time you topped up on the phone? Did you know if there was any credit remaining on the phone at the time where the services were disconnected?

Regards

Nathan

Re: Pay as you ending

Hi

I can only guess the last time I topped up the mobile, approximately 2018, as I said its a holiday phone and due to the pandemic it's not been used.  It should have under £30 left on it.

Thanks

Re: Pay as you ending

Hi @shazb70 thanks for your reply.

Okay I'm really sorry, but if anything credit-wise on the phone hasn't been used for 180 days or more then the credit amount is lost - this is consistent to all PAYG phone users with Virgin Mobile.

All mobile phone companies have this policy in place, but some companies vary with their timescales.

Please accept my apologies once again for any inconvenience caused.

Many thanks
