Hello everyone.
I’m switching from O2 to VM with PAC and my old number is supposed to be brought today (it’s taken much longer than usual because of Jubilee weekend).
My question is, am I supposed to keep VM sim in my phone for that switching to happen, or can I still have my O2 sim in it so that I can receive phone calls? I’m not sure what time of the day the switching happens and I’m worried no one can contact me if I have the new sim in my phone.
Hope it makes sense. Thanks!

Hey @Koko1,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post your issue on the forums.
Is the transfer definitely going ahead today and is your O2 sim card still fully active?

Thank you for your message.
Yes, I got a text message from VM to confirm my contract with previous provider is ending today. My phone line is still active with O2 sim in it.

Thanks for your response @Koko1, you would need to have your sim card in your phone for the activation process to take place.
