Just left virgin after 20+ years. Only allowed after bill paid in full. Virgin now owe me £88.
just got bill for £195.35. Take away the £88 credit, that leaves £106.80.! They want £106.80!
when a bill (during the 20 years) has been paid late or in two goes, we’ve been penalised by £6 or £7 each time. That’s always paid when the bill is paid and we’re up to date.
I find out the £195.35 is all those penalties added together.(which I’ve already paid) remember, I couldn’t leave until my total bill was paid in full.
what the hell is going on?
thanks, adam
ps. A virgin engineer recently saw my Rotveiler , he ran up the stairs, pushed my son out the way and locked himself in my son’s room!
lol

Hey Ads11hsl,
Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums.
I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your billing, that shouldn't be the case that you are paying a combination of late payment charges as they should be added to your bill for the next month and paid off as you said.
Does the bill show any details of what the charges are for or does it show that this is a combination of the late payment charges?
Have you left mid contract or at the end of your contract?
Kind Regards,
Steven_L

Thanks Steven L for helping.
we left at the end of the contract and the bill doesn’t say what it’s for.
I feel they just don’t want to pay what they owe me.

HI Ads11hsl, thanks for the message.
When an account is disconnected you would get a prorated credit back.
This would depending on when the payment was made and the date of disconnection,
Kind regards, Chris.

Thanks for replying,
I left at end of contract, had to pay everything I owed, and bill didn’t say what it was for.
